From September 7 to 13, with the approval of the Jiangsu Provincial Government and the Department of Transportation, Wang Huiting, Deputy Director of the Department of Transportation and Party Leadership Group member, along with Zhang Yi, Party Committee Secretary of Nanjing Transportation Vocational and Technical College, led a six-member cooperation and exchange delegation to the UK and France for a seven-day study and exchange trip. This trip focused on the core goal of vocational education internationalization, involving intensive visits to overseas institutions and in-depth engagement with educational cooperation projects to accurately learn from the operational experiences and campus cultural achievements of UK and French universities, thereby injecting new momentum into the internationalization of the college's educational endeavors.

During their stay in the UK, the delegation visited Oxford University's world-class training facilities and held discussions on key topics such as innovative teaching concepts, cross-cultural communication, and the development of high-caliber faculty. They engaged in in-depth exchanges with Coventry University on the 3+1+1 (associate degree to bachelor's to master's) joint training program, application-oriented talent cultivation models, and the construction of an internationalized curriculum system. The delegation also explored the advantages and challenges of deep industry-university-research integration and overseas development with Huawei's UK subsidiary. Additionally, they reached a high level of consensus with New Buckingham University on joint training programs and signed a memorandum of cooperation.
Upon arriving in France, the delegation held in-depth discussions with the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis on faculty exchanges, student short-term research programs, and the transformation of industry-academia-technology outcomes. They also engaged in practical exchanges with the école d'Ingénieurs Da Vinci on joint program development and Sino-foreign cooperative education initiatives. Additionally, the delegation conducted on-site research into the development of port infrastructure and transportation facilities in France, gathering international insights for the advancement of related disciplines at the university.

This trip to England and France is an important measure for Nanjing Vocational and Technical College of Transportation to implement the national strategy of opening up education to the outside world and deepen the internationalization of vocational education. Next, the college will take this inspection as an opportunity to continue expanding its cooperation with high-quality overseas universities and leading enterprises, and simultaneously plan the top-level design and implementation path of international education during the 15th Five Year Plan period, fully promoting the high-quality development of international education in the college.
